What Should We Take Into Account?

When it comes to being an entrepreneur, we have a tendency to look at those around us, while placing emphasis on those that have “made it”.  Granted it is important to study those who have made it but we need to be cautious in that we do not start to envy the other person.  When we envy someone we naturally begin to draw comparisons between what we have and what the other person has (nothing new here).  And sadly we find ourselves longing to have the same achievement.  Herein lies the danger.

When we often focus on what we don’t have (someone else’s success) and pay little mind to what we do have (in this case the skills to succeed).   Read that last sentence again, and then take a moment and place your focus where it belongs- on what you do have and remove it from what you don’t have.
